There are a variety of reasons that clients contact us to perform inspections.
Pre-Purchase Inspections are the most commonly requested RV and motorhome inspections, for obvious reasons. People want the reassurance from a professional before taking the giant leap. But what about Pre-Sale Inspections? Simply advertise your motorhome in RV Trader as "Inspected by a NRVIA Level II Inspector" and have your RV sold within days. Some clients opt for a Pre-Travel Inspection before setting off for their grand adventures. What ever your reason, Third Coast RV Inspector can get you "Rolling with Confidence!"
Depending on documented observations, results from a Third Coast RV Inspector, LLC inspection will typically produce a 40 to 75 page report that includes 40 to 100 photos. These numbers can vary, depending on the package requested, type of RV and what items are found that the inspector thinks will be of interest to you, our client, as either a negative, positive or just general information.
Third Coast RV Inspector offers 2 inspection packages to help satisfy our clients needs and budgets. All inspections evaluate the same components. The difference between the packages is in the level of evaluation and the details listed in the inspection report. With each package, the Inspector will: 1. communicate with both buyer and seller to obtain information regarding the unit and confirm expectations of the inspection process, 2. research the unit on-line, 3. spend hours physically inspecting the unit, 4. build a detailed report, and 5. communicate finding of inspection with our client. Our client will receive the report within 48 hours of the completion of the inspection. Fluid Analysis can be expected with 5-7 days of inspection.
The Essential Package is our smallest package available. This is a great little report containing 10-15 photos and basic information regarding the points of inspection. The Essential Package report will satisfy most Insurance, Warranty or Financial Institution requirements. This package includes up to 25 complimentary round trip miles.
The Premier Package is our most thorough and detailed investigation. In addition to our on-line research of the unit, the Inspection will spend approximately 6-10 hours physically inspecting the unit. When possible, video will capture the slide & awning operation and the 360 degree photo will put you in the driver's seat. This top-notch report which includes approximately 50 photos, 2 to 3 videos and 2 to 3 360 degree photos. Up to 60 complimentary round trip miles is also included in this package.
Fluids Analysis - We highly recommend fluids analysis on all motorized RVs. This is a best way to obtain critical information regarding your engine, transmission and/or generator's health. Fluid Analysis available: Engine Oil, Engine Coolant, Transmission Oil, Generator Oil, Generator Coolant, Differential, Power Steering, Hydraulic System and/or Aqua Hot Coolant.
1st Fluid Analysis - $70, all others $50 each.
Mileage - Mileage fee of 50 cents per mile is charged, if round trip mileage exceeds allotted package miles.
No matter the reason, a NRVIA certified inspection is a thorough and extensive visual inspection of things that can be accessed, without major disassembly. If a problem is found, it will be documented and if possible, photographed for the report. The NRVIA Code of Ethics states that the Inspector MAY NOT perform repairs on a RV that he/she has inspected, for 1 year after inspection. The inspector’s job is to observe and report.
